Sorveo Hospitality Intelligence Network · Pilot

Would your team recognise a person flagged by another hotel?

The Sorveo Hospitality Intelligence Network turns shared security concerns into timely alerts. Participating hotels share approved watchlist entries under clear rules — and your team is alerted, with context, when a potential match arrives.

What the network does

Shared awareness, without the guesswork.

Know sooner

Get an alert when a potential match appears at an agreed camera location — such as reception or a main entrance — instead of finding out after the damage is done.

Respond with context

Review the image and the documented case before deciding what action to take. Every alert asks for human judgement — nothing happens automatically.

Work together responsibly

Share approved watchlist entries across participating hotels under clear rules — with independent review, minimal disclosure and a full audit trail.

Why it matters

A person banned at one hotel is a stranger at the next.

People who run up unpaid bills, commit fraud or theft, or threaten staff and guests rarely target just one property. Today, what one hotel knows usually stays with that hotel.

Knowledge stays in one incident log

A documented concern at one property is invisible to the hotel down the road.

Informal sharing is hard to govern

Photos passed around group chats have no review, no record and no way to correct a mistake.

No one can memorise every face

Front-desk teams change shifts and turn over — recognition can't rely on memory alone.

How it works

From a documented concern to a reviewed alert.

Every shared entry is documented, checked and approved before any other hotel sees it — and every alert ends with a person making the call.

  1. 1
    Proposer

    A hotel documents a concern

A member of staff proposes an entry with an image and a documented reason — for example, unpaid bills.

  2. 2
    Reviewer & approver

    It is independently checked

A second person reviews the entry and a third approves it. No one can add someone to the shared list alone.

  3. 3
    The network

    Approved entries are shared

The entry becomes available to participating hotels, with only what they need to review a match.

  4. 4
    Sorveo

    A potential match is spotted

When the person appears at an agreed camera location at another member hotel, the right people are alerted.

  5. 5
    Your team

    You review and decide

Your team checks the image and documented case, then decides what — if anything — to do under your own policy.

Anatomy of an alert

Everything your team needs to decide well.

  1. 1

    A clear "review required" status

Alerts are framed as potential matches, so staff check before they act.

  2. 2

    The image that triggered it

A snapshot from your own camera to compare against the shared entry.

  3. 3

    The documented reason

Why the person was flagged on the network — the context behind the alert.

  4. 4

    Where and when

The camera location and time, sent only to the people you choose — by WhatsApp, SMS, email or in-app.

  5. 5

    A record of who responded

Alerts are acknowledged in the portal, so you can see who reviewed them and when.

Governance

Built for responsible sharing.

Sharing information about people carries real responsibility. The network is designed so that every entry is justified, checked, visible to as few people as necessary, and open to challenge.

Documented entries only

Every shared entry carries an image and a documented reason. No reason, no entry.

Separation of duties

A maker, reviewer and approver process means no single person can put someone on the shared list.

Minimal disclosure

Other hotels see what they need to review a match — not your full records or incident files.

Human review, every time

Alerts are potential matches that require review. Sorveo never refuses, removes or reports anyone automatically.

Challenges & quality scoring

Participating hotels can challenge an entry they believe is wrong, and entries are quality-scored so the list stays reliable.

Accountable access

Custom roles, two-factor authentication and a full audit trail record who proposed, reviewed, approved and acted on what.

Network rules are agreed with participating hotels at onboarding. Each hotel remains responsible for its own lawful basis, signage and data-protection obligations; we recommend involving your data-protection lead before you join. Your own hotel's watchlists stay private unless an entry is submitted and approved for sharing.

What hotels gain

Stronger together — and on your own.

Earlier warning

Learn from incidents at other hotels before the same person causes one at yours.

Protect staff and guests

Give front-of-house and security teams context before a difficult interaction begins.

Reduce avoidable losses

Spot repeat patterns such as unpaid bills, fraud or theft that move from property to property.

Consistent, defensible responses

Replace informal photo-sharing with a documented, reviewed and auditable process.

Works with your existing cameras

Sorveo adds AI to your IP cameras through an on-site edge appliance — no camera replacement.

Your own security layer too

Use the same platform for your private watchlists and VIP arrivals, staff-only area control and investigations.

The pilot

Help shape the first hospitality intelligence networks.

We are onboarding a limited number of hotels to form the first networks. Pilot hotels work directly with the Sorveo team and help set the rules the network runs on.

What pilot hotels receive

  • Hands-on onboarding by Sorveo, including network set-up and configuration of your agreed camera locations.
  • Training for your proposers, reviewers and approvers, and for the staff who receive alerts.
  • A voice in the network rules — what can be shared, and how entries are reviewed and challenged.
  • A direct line to the Sorveo product team throughout the pilot.

What we ask of pilot hotels

  • IP cameras covering reception and main entrances, with a reachable stream for the Sorveo edge appliance.
  • A named security lead, plus people to act as reviewer and approver for shared entries.
  • Agreement to the network rules, and involvement of your data-protection lead.
  • Honest feedback, so the network works for hotels in practice.
Limited pilot places, open worldwide. We welcome applications from hotels in any country. A network needs at least two participating hotels — if you have partner properties in mind, tell us when you apply.
Frequently asked

Network FAQ.

Is the Sorveo Hospitality Intelligence Network available now?

The network is live in a pilot. We are onboarding a limited number of hotels to form the first networks. Sorveo sets up each network directly, and a network needs at least two participating hotels before entries are shared.

Can hotels outside Nigeria or Africa apply?

Yes. The Hospitality Intelligence Network pilot is open to hotels anywhere in the world. Tell us where your property is when you apply, along with any partner hotels you would like to share with.

Does a match mean a hotel should refuse someone?

No. Every alert is a potential match that requires review. Your team looks at the image and the documented case and decides what, if anything, to do, in line with your own policies. Sorveo never takes action automatically.

Who decides what goes on the shared watchlist?

Entries follow a maker, reviewer and approver process. One person proposes an entry with a documented reason, another reviews it and a third approves it, so no single person can add someone to the shared list on their own.

What do other hotels see about an entry?

The network is designed for minimal disclosure: participating hotels receive what they need to review a potential match, such as the image and the documented reason, not another hotel's full records.

What happens if an entry is wrong?

Participating hotels can raise a challenge against an entry so that it is reviewed. Entries are also quality-scored, and every action is recorded in the audit trail.

Do we need new cameras?

No. Sorveo adds AI to your existing IP cameras through an on-site Sorveo edge appliance. During onboarding we agree which camera locations — typically reception and main entrances — take part.

How are alerts delivered?

Alerts carry the image and camera location and go only to the people you choose. Alerts can be delivered by WhatsApp, SMS, email and in-app notification.

Does joining make our sharing legally compliant?

No platform can guarantee that on its own. The network provides governance controls, but each hotel remains responsible for its own lawful basis, signage and data-protection obligations. We encourage every pilot hotel to involve its data-protection lead before joining.
