Project Manager – Deployments

Location: Lagos (Primary), with occasional travel within Nigeria
The Role

The Project Manager – Deployments will coordinate and oversee all activities related to camera installations, system deployments, and customer rollouts across client locations.

This includes managing pilot implementations and post-pilot production deployments, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and achieve agreed success outcomes.

The role requires strong on-site presence, stakeholder coordination, and vendor management. While primarily based in Lagos, the role may occasionally require travel to oversee deployments in other states within Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

Deployment & Pilot Management
● Plan and coordinate Sorveo pilot deployments across client sites.
● Manage transition from pilot to full production deployment where pilots are successful.
● Ensure deployments are delivered on schedule and within agreed budgets.
● Track milestones, deliverables, and rollout timelines.
● Monitor deployment quality and ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination
● Serve as Sorveo’s primary operational contact during deployments.
● Coordinate meetings and rollout schedules with client organizations.
● Provide deployment updates and status reports.
● Capture operational feedback and issues for resolution.

Vendor & Installation Oversight
● Coordinate and supervise installation partners and contractors.
● Ensure installations meet Sorveo deployment standards.
● Act on behalf of Sorveo in managing installers and vendors.
● Verify installation quality and completion.

On-Site Execution & Monitoring
● Visit deployment sites to oversee implementation.
● Ensure installations follow agreed technical and operational standards.
● Identify and resolve on-site operational issues quickly.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement
● Produce deployment and pilot performance reports.
● Track risks, issues, and corrective actions.
● Recommend improvements to deployment processes as deployments scale.

What we’re looking for

Required Skills & Experience
● 3–6 years experience in project management, operations, or deployment roles.
● Experience coordinating technical installations or field operations preferred.
● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
● Ability to manage vendors and contractors.
● Comfortable working across multiple sites.
● Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Background

Experience in:

We work with existing camera infrastructure to deliver real-time alerts, facial recognition, and actionable intelligence, with a strong emphasis on privacy, governance, and responsible AI.

Sorveo serves organisations across banking, hospitality, retail, residential estates, and multi-site environments and is currently transitioning from pilots into early commercial growth.

The Role

We are looking for a senior Business Development leader to own and drive Sorveo’s commercial growth in Nigeria, starting with Lagos.

This is a build role for a highly motivated, self-directed individual who thrives in early-stage environments and is comfortable shaping strategy, process, and execution as the company grows.

You will work closely with the Founder & CEO and, over time, build and lead a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

● Own Sorveo’s business development and sales strategy in Nigeria
● Identify, pursue, and close opportunities with enterprise and multi-site customers
● Secure pilot engagements and convert them into paying customers
● Leverage existing relationships within banking, retail, and hospitality to open doors
● Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from first contact to close
● Act as the commercial voice of the customer, feeding market insight back into product direction
● Develop partnerships and strategic relationships where appropriate
● As the business grows, hire, build, and manage an efficient sales team

What We’re Looking For

● Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably for a SaaS or technology product
● Based in Lagos, with strong, credible networks across:

● Experience selling complex or consultative technology solutions
● Comfortable operating in a startup environment with evolving structure
● Highly self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
● Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability

Remuneration & Incentives

Compensation will be competitive and aligned with Sorveo’s stage, and may include:

● Base salary
● Performance-based commission
● Equity participation, vesting over 4 years
